SubaruΓÇÖs unconventional aero-shaped sport coupe comes in L and LSi trim levels. Both are powered by a 3.3-liter aluminum boxer six and differ mainly in level of equipment. The only changes for 1997 are the narrower tires and a body color grille.
Apart from the sunroof and heated outside mirrors, the major difference between the L and LSi is in the interior. The LSi has 8-way power leather seats for the driver, a 50/50 split rear fold down seat, CD player, simulated wood dash inserts and anti-theft system with remote activation. Both models come with 4-channel anti-lock disc brakes, dual airbags, and 215/55 /VR 16 tires on alloy wheels.
One unique feature of the SVX is its ΓÇÿwindow-within-a-windowΓÇÖ canope that is convenient and cuts down on wind noise at high speed.
